Randy Knill, Partner
MAIBC, LEED™ AP, CP, B. Arch.
After graduating from the University of Oregon in 1978, Randy returned to Canada and designed custom homes on the Sunshine Coast for several years. In 1982, he moved to Anchorage, Alaska, and worked on numerous projects built for arctic climates including schools, arctic research facilities, and residential projects. He returned to Vancouver in 1987. After working for a variety of local firms, Randy started his own firm in 2001, which merged with DA Architects + Planners in 2005.
Randy’s past experience includes large and small-scale retail sector building types and, most recently, the River Rock Casino Resort, a 500,000-square-foot multi-use destination resort located on the Fraser River in Richmond, B.C. Randy believes strongly that by listening carefully to our clients’ needs and then assembling a creative design team where every member is contributing in the area where they excel, the result will be the best possible architecture. |
